Usually instruments will be presented as 2 pairs of the same type.
Including the prefix "OMBAK" in the samples it means that both pair of instruments are played TOGETHER (Ombak meaning "Wave", it creates the desired effect of waving/chorus in between the ensemble). Usually one ensemble has 2 instruments of the same kind: for example 2 Genders, one "male" and one "female", with a slight detuning in between them, so when they are played together, the same note they will create the unique vibration of the Gamelan tradition.
